This is boxing so of course Floyd will fight Manny next year...
It is a buisness as much as a sport
way too much money would be at stake and Floyd will 100% want his number 1 p4p status back and his ego won't like the fact that Pacman did to Oscar what He (Floyd) couldn't

The only way Arum would let Floyd near Manny, would be if Floyd is willing to take on the winner of the Margarito/Cotto rematch first.

Arum makes more money that way. There is no love lost between Floyd and Bob, and Arum is holding all the cards right now.

i really hope not that would be dumb for arum to do that. might as well do it right away before Manny loses to somebody.

It'll be nice to hear something solid in the future, as for now i see floyd as "semi-retired" with just another name added to the list of opponets that can pull him out of retirement and beat him. Manny just fought so for now it's him, cotto will fight again and the pac fight will be forgotten and he'll be the guy, then tony will fight and he'll be the guy so on and so forth. How bout we match up some of these current opponets and stop stroking floyd's ego in such a rush to dump more money in his acct for him to floss around.
