Default Tonight's FNF!! Ngoudjo vs. Urango

Tonight on ESPN2 and Radio Canada

140 lb matchup for the vacant IBF strap

Herman Ngoudjo 17-2 (9 KOs) weighed in at 139.1 lbs.
comes in off a close call (much closer than the cards showed) against M'Baye, Ngoudjo had a HUGE swelled eye in that fight. Ngoudjo enjoys trying to maintain a high workrate although he doesn't have a lot of power in his punches.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Juan Urango 20-1-1 (16 KOs) weighed in at 139
enters after an absolutely brutal KO victory over Vilches. Urango isn't hard to figure out, he simply wants to walk his opponents against the ropes and go for the KO. His power is real, real enough to stop Hatton's onslaught in their match. I personally feel he was outboxed by Ben Rabah.

The undercard features local star Antonin Decarie takes on last minute replacement Dorin Spivey for the WBO NABO Welterweight title

I think Urango has really good shot here, because Ngoudjo keeps coming forward, when Urango is given opportunities inside he capitalizes. I like Ngoudjo's style better personally, but I think Urango is all wrong for him.
    Urango late stoppage.

only way i see urango winning is one punch or, ngoudjo eye swell like crazy
urango is slow, he gets tired very easily, and his punches are very predictable
ngoudjo has a good chin, always keep the pressure own, picks his shots and move very well also a mature fighter i'm just leaning on ngoudjo to win

I got Urango by late KO. Ngoudjo can box no doubt and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win on points...but I think Urango's physical strength and power will be the difference.

I'm picking Urango too, this is a hard one, because if Ngoudjo pulls a Shane and ties up inside he can control the outside I think.

Ahhh ...They started at 7:30 Shanes going after Tonys Trainer?

In fairness, but should Tony still be #3...he was not in that fight at any point? Im leaning to Urango,If Ngoudos eye swelling repeats,he will be in deep shite.

    Well he mattered in Andrade-Bute.

I think he'll give Ngoudjo like 5 min. to recover if Urango put's him down.
