    Default 2 stone in 2 months?

    Hi all ive currently started my diet again and hard at training. My coaches said that if i get down to about 94kg i will have a fight im currently 107kg and i wondered is it good for my body to lose that kind of weight in about two and half months? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks

    That depends on a lot of things such as how tall are you? What is your body fat? Prior sporting involvement? etc, that really does not give us much information, help us and we shall help you.

    Im about 5'10 and im not sure about my body fat just that my weight is 106.9kg. I've had 2 fights and lost em both

    Sorry, I am i the U.S. and used to pounds so i believe that converts to about 28 pounds in 60 days or so. While that is a lot of weight pretty quickly, if you are high on bodyfat % and excess water storage that should be doable as long as you take it slow. Make sure you do a lot of high intensity intervals, and some weight lifting work to make sure you maintain your strength and muscle. Interval training is great for shedding bodyfat plus it will make you faster if done properly as well. Also, DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF. This will cause very short lived weight loss as it will tank your metabolism. Eat 6 times a day with your biggest meals being breakfast and a couple of hours before the gym. Keep the other meals small and save one for right after the gym w/ some protein in order to help your body recuperate. Get most of your carbs that you plan for early and not around bed when you will not be able to use them.

    There is a lot you can do, obv. I'll just add one for now, and that is to run distance in the morning before breakfast regularly. Push yourself with it to get a damn good sweat on.
