Default The Chisora Bite incident, what did you guys think?

For those of you who didn't see the incident tonight, upcoming heavy Derek Chisora (now 10-0) beat Paul Butlin on points over 8 rounds, but the main headline was in the fifth round Chisora delivered a bite to Butlin's ear which sent the visitor scampering away clutching his ear. The replays show Chisora glance at it then bite down on the ear though it's hard to see if it was a full blown bite or a cheeky nibble.

The newly-monikered "Fangs from Finchley" (that's my contribution!!!) said afterwards "That doesn't sound like me, it wasn't me in there biting him."
Chisora was also deducted a point for an uppercut after the ref called break the following round. He's scheduled to fight Danny Williams in late June, but will the BBBofC have anything to say about his mid-fight snack?

It was true what Butlin said after - If it was him that bit Chisora he would have been out of there.

Chisora is very average but the BBB of C should be imposing a fine if not ruling the bout a DQ.

Chisora is a dickhead. He's not even that good a fighter. He wouldn't last 3 rounds with Tyson Fury, and I'm not even that sold on Fury yet.

I was hoping he'd get chucked out when he did the bite.

He comes across as a thicko outside the ring.. I'm not impressed by him in it either.

He's a complete thicko. Just look up any of his interviews on YouTube - It actually makes me feel uncomfortable, like watching The Office..just not as funny

So when you heard about the bite incident, you wondered what on earth possessed him to do it?

An update on the situation with Chisora.... ( the boxer ) is that he's been suspended for four months and fined £2,500 by the BBBofC according to a Boxing News email that arrived in my inbox a short while ago.

Pretty much scuppers his June/July fight with Danny Williams, and no less than he deserves for the bite IMO.

Yeah, Buncey mentioned it on the Boxing Hour. Fully what he deserves, hopefully he'll be out in the wilderness after this, but won't happen.

He's one of Warren's boys, and if Warren gets succesfully sued by Calzaghe over the next couple of weeks who knows? A bunch of Warren fighters might drop seriously off the radar.

Fingers crossed!! Warren's a tosser, and he seems to surround himself with boxers who are tossers.
