Default Why don't GBP promote an in-house megafight, JMM vs. Mosley?

Why don't Golden Boy Promotions promote an in-house megafight, JMM vs. Mosley?

    - PBF is injured, Mosley is available to step-in...
    - Mosley said he will go down to 144 to fight PAC, he can do it for JMM too...
    - #2 P4P JMM vs. #4 Mosley, what a fight!!
    - Both JMM and Mosley promoted by GBP, so easy to make this fight...
    - Could be a 50/50 purse split, everybody is happy...

Mosley is far too big for Marquez. Let's remember Marquez is really a lightweight and has spent most his time in lower weight classes.

Shane Mosely has gone to Junior-Middleweight at one stage.

I'ld think this is a mismatch.

GBP is pushing for a PAC-Mosley fight up to the point of ridiculously saying that PAC is avoiding Mosley...

If PAC-Mosley is OK with GBP, JMM-Mosley would be too...

Mosley is way too big for Marquez.

Mosley just knocked out a huge granite chinned welterweight in Margarito.

Putting him against Marquez would be a joke.

Mosley is way too big for JMM but not way too big for Pacquiao??

Pacquiao has fought at 140 and 142 and looked devastating with 2 wins over ODLH and Hatton.

Marquez hasn't fought higher than 135.

You have a valid point Xadu. But the real reason why JMM is moving up to 144 and fight Floyd is money, lots and lots of money. GBP is having trouble promoting the fight, and Mosley-Marquez would be 3x worse.

Top Rank has an in-house megafight about to be signed, PAC vs. Cotto...

GBP should match Top Rank and push for JMM vs. Mosley in-house megafight...

But Mosley won't be asking $15 million to fight JMM... I'm guessing $4 million is enough for Mosley or even $3 million since JMM only gets $3 million...

GBP gonna save $12 million in having Mosley fight JMM instead of PBF...

Or both JMM and Mosley can have $2M purse each...

You have a point... So JMM stays at $3M (same purse he gets from PBF) and Mosley will have $4M or $5M...

GBP, please make this fight... P4P #2 vs. P4P #4 fight will have fans salivating for it...

Are you kidding me?? PBF - boxing's cash cow and JMM - Mexico's numero uno boxer, is not selling well??

I think JMM-Mosley will do well since it's from GBP, the best promoter in the business...
