That's just stupid. Cotto fought a hard fight and showed a lot of heart and, IMO, had all of the tools to beat Pacquiao and would've done so if he hadn't taken the beating from a Marga-cheato with cinderblocks in his hands a year prior. Mocking Cotto's efforts after such a fight is just immature.

To be fair, Cotto's face looked exctly the same in both fights.

What does that prove? That he's flesh and blood?

You still think Margarito was using illegal hand wraps yet Cotto's face was no different after the beating he took from Pacquiao.

All im saying is im not so sure Margarito was cheating in that fight

No one, other than Margarito, can be. The fact that his face was swollen and bloodied just shows that he was in a fight and took a lot of hard punches from a hard puncher in Pacquiao.

The fact that they had to re-wrap Marg's hands numerous times before the Mosley fight, shows that it was not a one-off, spur of the moment decision. He had an experienced corner and they must have known that kind of thing was illegal and that the plaster in his gloves wasn't just to "protect his hands" as they later claimed. I'm even quite suspect regarding previous fights, such as the couple with Cintron. In my opinion, it's despicable to cheat in such a way. He could have killed someone. Cotto has already stated that he wont give Marg the chance at a rematch and I think that is the right decision. He obviously has some hate for the large Mexican welterweight, but he's dealing with it in a professional way.

Sorry, I seem to have gotten the topic of this thread onto Marga-cheato. That little rant was just a mix of common sense and my opinion. As I said, no one other than Marg really knows

Those "tools" pac just received with an iron chin. And even if cotto had not suffered that illegal beating from margo, imo he will still lose to pac. He comes straightforward and that's tailor-made to pac. Pac will always beat everyone slower than him. Cotto is slower-he lose. Simple equation.
