Default Wow, really good weekend for boxing

Really looking forward to Lamont Peterson-Tim Bradley and Juan Diaz-Malignaggi and Pascal-Diaconu 2.

Then a time killer with Vitali-Johnson and you've got Vic too.

Don't know if there are any other fights than that or not.

I've got Peterson to pull the upset, Juan Diaz to beat Malignaggi again, Vitali to win but I think he'll go the distance this time, and Vic.

We've had a REALLY great last part of the year for boxing.

I have Peterson pulling the upset aswell finally making it the year of Andre Ward and Lamont Peterson (or Pacquiao, whatever). Bradley-Peterson is sure to be overlooked by everyone but that is a really great fight of two of the most talented American fighters out there. I used to be sure Peterson was going to take it but Bradley has improved and is better then I previously gave him credit for.

I wish Johnson could somehow beat Vitali, he'll do better then Arreola that's for sure. I don't think he'll win. If he can somehow beat Vitali from the outside with the jab, then maybe he has a shot but he's likely to have spots of success and get smacked around.

Diaz has already beat Malignaggi by the scores of 118-110 on all 3 cards, unless he stops him of course so that one lacks the drama of the others.

Who is Darchinyan fighting? I would love to see an Agbeko rematch Vic should lose as he is just an awful little crab-fighter but he might not. I yeah Rojas right?

Victor Ortiz should beat Antonio Diaz. Diaz has a lot of fire and in his day was not a bad fighter at all but father time has probably taken it's toll on him. Hopefully Ortiz can regain some condifence, good test for him.

Fenster, this week, because of a lack of British fights, I'm basing my picks solely on the knowledge

I didn't know Timothy Bradley vs Lamont Peterson was happening, and i forgot about Juan Diaz vs Paul Malignaggi 2.

There is some great fights here though, i have been impressed with Jean Pascal since after the Carl Froch fight.

I don't know much about Kevin Johnson, but i just want to see either of the Klitschko brothers in a tough fight, its been years since they've been in a competitive fight.

Lamont Peterson vs Timothy Bradley is a tough one to call, can't really make my mind up about that fight. Im in the same boat as you Ouma, i wasn't to impressed with Timothy Bradley at the start, but i think he's improved quite a bit. Easily the most improved fighter at the moment.

The other fights i think are pretty easy to pick.

Jean Pascal by comfortable decision too fast like he was the 1st time.

Vitali Klitschko by TKO late on.

Juan Diaz by decision a bit more convincingly than last time.

I think i remember seeing Tomas Rojas, give Rosendo Alvarez all he could handle. And that was a Rosendo Alvarez that was still good, other than that Tomas Rojas career has never really took off. I think he could suprise some people and give Vic Darchinyan a tougher fight than expected.

Antonio Diaz ? an underrated fighter i remember him beating Micky Ward in a great fight that he deserved to win, he also has some good underrated wins against Cory Spinks, Ivan Robinson, he also gave Antonio Margarito all he could handle. Haven't really been following him since 2003, but if he has anything left he will give Victor Ortiz all he could handle. But he will probably be too old and rusty, he's only had 4 fights in 4 years.
