One camp for concern on steroids use, and the other for a continuity for a "ritual" but proven winning fight preparations.

This was the concession that the Pac group were willing to accomodate. However, the Mayweathers said no, as they wanted random blood tests to take place right up until seconds before the fight, this was unfortunately, disagreeable to Manny and rightfully so.

Pacquiao, as far as he is concerned, has nothing to hide. He plainly is not comfortable being randomly tested for the disruption it creates on his fight preparations. Likewise, it also has a history as a recipe for a bad result, (Morales vs Pac I) where he was tested days before the fight and he immediately felt enormously weakened as a result and to never achieve peak form atop the ring.

    What else can be said....

    No, no, no.

Pac's proposal to change the cut off date from 30 days to 24 days is a nothing proposal. It is far from the random testing which has been asked all along.

The arguments that you are offering in defence of Manny are ludicrous. The tests would have little impact on his training. There were a bunch of excuses for the Morales loss and bloodtesting was one of them. It couldn't be down to the fact that on the night Morales was simply better than him, could it now? I see there were no excuses after getting the nod over Marquez second time out. It's funny how there are no excuses when the cards go in your favour.

Manny, the supposed fans fighter, has gone and chickened out when it mattered the most. And you have to wonder, why? Were the questions being asked simply too much for him to handle? Or too close to the bone? Manny now has serious question marks next to his name and has made a lot of people very angry.

It's a disgrace. The responses from his team have been haphazard at best or else outright dishonest. We all knew Manny was tough to negotiate with, but this is absurd. The biggest fight of the decade off because of a refusal to submit to random testing.
i see where you're coming from. and i do agree about manny and the question marks next to his name because of certain allegations from a convicted drug dealer. but lets put ourselves in mannys shoes here for a moment. if you had a history of being outsmarted in a fight negotiation. for example, he was outhussled in the negotiations during the first morales fight by his own promoter. he was forced to use winning gloves instead of reyes, his blood was drawn two days before the fight and he believed that weakened him. the same pattern of negotiating floyd used. wanting to fight at 154, 10 oz gloves and random blood testing. well only the random blood testing worked against pacquiao.
There is no denying that Mayweather is a dick. He has always been a dick and that is why I don't like him, but it's a shame that Manny has turned out to be a bit of a dick too. Mayweather might be a ducker, but he's never going to have the stigma of drug abuse hanging over him.

At the end of the day Mayweathers demand is one that many professional athletes have to go through, so to turn down 40million big ones over a needle is just crazy. The fight was there to be made and the best Manny can do is to suggest a blood test 24 days before the fight. That is ridiculous, does he really need 3 weeks plus to get over a blood test and get himself in the zone? It's such a crock of shit and just makes him look like he is hiding something.

i know 40 million is a HUGE amount of money and could be the biggest to be made in a fight but you guys forgot where manny came from. he came from absolutely nothing so i think money is not the issue here. and ok. 24 days before the fight is a bit weak but how about right after the fight? everybody keeps on overlooking that fact. you dont think PEDS would be detected right after the fight?

There is no question in my mind that this fight will happen. It will happen, its way,way too big not to happen. The sport of boxing needs this fight, and it will be done. It's just a case of when. Anybody that thinks this fight is dead and buried is kidding themselves.
Some people say boxing is a matter of life or death, it's not, it's far more important than that.

Manny has thrown away the fight, and it doesn't matter how Arum tries to spin it. The facts are there in the article. Mayweathers demands were the same as they have been all the way through negotiations. It is Manny's camp that offered the lame proposal of 24 days before the fight. A very weak move to make them look as though they are offering something, despite the fact that there is nothing random in their proposal and still allows for possible loopholes.
Don't try to reason them Miles, they will just stick to what Manny does even if he would kill somebody, they just don't want to be objective.
did anybody prove he's juicing? did you? not unless you give us proof then you and the rest of us here could speculate. mayweather started boxing at 106 lbs for golden gloves and now hes a welterweight, so you think hes juicing too? how about oscar, he fought at 130 all the way up to 160, so can we accuse him of juicing? mosley admited that he was on steroids but a lot of people think he lost to oscar on the second fight. vargas was also caught juicing, didnt dela hoya lay him out? bush said that theres WMD in iraq, iraq is now torn inside out and nobody found anything, not even half of 1 WMD
I think you don't get it, don't you? Did you ever saw me said he was juiced? Read my old posts, I always said he has to be proven innocent till the opposite but that his refusal to get a tea spoon of blood removed, which absolutely can't weaken him makes it all very dubious and with reason. Like it or not, it is dubious for reasons. Fact. Like it or not, it's suspicious he refuses something so basic for 40 millions. Fact. Like it or not, it is humanly impossible to be weakened for such a small quantity of blood, biologically proven by every specialists. Fact.

oh yeah. how come people go limp in just the sight of blood not even their own. some people after a veil of blood drawn have to sit around and drink orange juice for at least an hour so they wont faint. is it really biologically proven then post you link here. and how did you know it was a small quantity of blood? did you read the contract? was it disclosed to you and not to everybody else. dont make assusmptions and put the word FACT next to it.

I've had a couple of blood tests, so I and I'm sure others do know!

Are those tattoos of his stick on or was it by a needle breaking the skin?

If they need to sit about it's because of whats in their head and not losing a little blood.

People who donate blood don't have this problem!! So why should someone who is at the highest level of fitness?

    Those are facts.

Fukk Manny Pacquiao! The dude has just ruined any chances of one of the biggest fights we've seen in ages. If this fight truly doesn't come off as a result of him refusing to do the blood tests, then I gotta say my respect for him is gone.

I think its interesting how some Puss fans around here past and present have flashed sigs, pictures and avatars like KananKraus does of Pussiauo in Bruce Lee movie back drops trying to make an obvious comparison to their physiques..

Funny thing is Bruce was insanely obsessed with his body, he ran lifted weights, used electrical stimulation on his muscles, incorporated agility drills and tokk a myriad of supplements as well as ANABOLIC STEROIDS!!!!!!!

Sorry but you won't fool me with your stupid argumentation, if they would force him to get blood drawn from a specific place, they would have negociated to have it taken somewhere else and as it doesn't matter, it sure is not a big deal. They just want a sampler of blood, no matter where it is extracted, to see if it contains strange substances. As for your peoples fainting, they aren't dying, Pacman even accepted the blood tests without hesitation, just not 24 days before the fight. If they extract it after a day where he trains, how would it ruin his preparation? Not at all. ¨PAcman agreed to the tests, just not random, he won't fain neither die, this argument is just silly and you're just trying to protect your idol in a very very very poor way. so yeah, FACT.

i don't think Pac has taken anabolic steroids. I suspect he may've been taking EPO or blood doping.

that's why the random tests are throwing him off. The 30/24-day proposal is a fucking joke. That's such a big loophole that any PED cheat would get through it.

    Within 24 hours? Also useless.

Forget what you'd do if you was Manny, forget how it looks or what reasoning you have for taking the tests. Forget what happened with Mosley. Manny hasn't done anything wrong, he is obiding by the same rules as every other single boxing match in history!

Innocent until proven guilty! And besides, the fight may still happen at a later date...

I think its the excuses that the manny camp have come up with eg scared of needles but he has tattoos. That why pac is getting alot of stick it seems to be excuse after excuse at least Mayweather has always stuck to his guns.

Anyway Freddie Roach will be happy that the fight hasnt happened he was the one that said the march date was to early at the start of all this!

no they wont be using come fight week, there is no point, PED's are mainly used in the buildup to the fight for training purposes, and cycled out by fight night, the tests need to be random, even if say give a window of a week before the fight when no tests will be done
