    Default Saul Alvarez... PPV Material?

So I am watching Alvarez in his last decision win and now I know why I've never heard of him. He looks like a mix of Arturo Gatti and Jesse Feliciano. His movement and action are endless, he has power early and late, but his defense is pretty much non existent when he punches. Arum is about to bring him to the US and push him as PPV material. Is it his skill (?) or is it specifically the fact that he is Mexican that they are promoting? I can't see him doing well against any top welter, so I guess he's the new attraction at Latin Fury...

    Here's a highlight reel:

Here's the last round of his last fight:

Alvarez is only 19. He'll be champion by the time he's 22. His comp level has been getting better and better. He's faced much better fighters than Chavez Jr

if there ever was a blue chip prospect, saul alvarez is it! the kid's only 19 years old and he's improving everytime he fights. concerning feliciano and gatti (RIP), he's better than both of them/were right now! the only thing is he's never really been tested so it's hard to say how good his chin is. and as far as him being PPV material? you bet your britches he will be. the kid is a phenom who with good management will be a top ten p4p in the future. and as far as doing well against any top welterweight now, well, what do you expect, he's only 19. give him one or two years and he'll own the welterweight division!!!!!!!!!

Really depends in what capacity...a co feature or main event status ala opponent sort? A young inspired undefeated & all to willing, rapidly improving hot prospect with a leaky defense and solid strength and thudding offence...yeh why in the hell would I want to see that You can measure the lack of quality fighters featured on many PPV's today in miles, not inches.Just cannot lump Canelo in with the non worthy even at this early stage.
