Default Koki Kameda loses to Pongsaklek Wonjongkam...

Bit of an upset there surely, Wonjongkam wins by majority decision to regain the WBC Flyweight title.

I only caught the last 4 rounds on a really choppy stream, so I can't tell how the fight went exactly, but it must have been close enough. Both fighters were celebrating at the end of the fight and Kameda didn't seem too shocked by the decision, just disappointed.

This is horrible news. Hopefully there's a rematch.

I actually caught a pretty good stream on it. It was pretty good fight. I had it 115-113 for Pong. A rematch with Koki, a unification with the other Kameda in the divison, or a 5th bout with Naito are his top options.

Oleydong won. But really I had him losing. He faded badly. I don't see how they gave him the win after being floored late and having a point deducted as well. But that's boxing

One thing for sure: With 75 wins and 3 defeats, defended his title how many, 20 times or something like that? the Thai has the hell of a career, perhaps one of the most under rated fighter of his era and I would also dare to say one of the great.

I have a big issue with Wonjongkam and it's mainly because so many of his defenses were against guys that were either made pro for that fight only or were complete tomato cans. He fights often and he obviously has fought some very good fighters, but a lot of his record is a sham.

Not really an upset to me at all, despite some of Pongsaklek Wonjongkam's title defenses being less than stellar. He is a good underrated fighter, and i thought personally that Koki Kameda was getting a tad overrated himself.

Damn Koki lost? I gotta check out the fight soon again. I was confident Kameda would take this. But oh well that's boxing.

I can't really be excited by either of these fighters, both of whom would likely lose to Holly Holm....

I thought this was on today/tonight and I just found out I missed the Gamboa fight too. Fantastic.

It's funny most Japanese fans are happy that Koki Kameda finally lost a fight.

One is a likely HOFer, the other goes through training regimes as tough as those of the best like Mayeather & Pacquiao.

I have to wonder sometimes Bilbo, do you think this hatred towards the smaller man is generated by some kind of self-loathing?
