Default Willie Limond v Eric Morales in September

Limonds trainer says they have accepted a fight with Morales at 135, can Morales still make 135?

Why the hell would Erik Morales comeback for a fight like this ? he might aswell just organize an exhibition. Asking people out of the crowd.

Weirdest fight of the year. I suppose it's quite good for Limond, in a way.

He wont get knocked out early, I think it will be a close fight and because Morales is Morales and he is well known he will probably get the decision.

Of course he's Erik Morales. And Willie Limond sadly for him is Willie Limond. What that translate to? Erik Morales TKO 2 Willie Limond

His next fight is going to be pugilistic dementia if he keeps on campaigning.

Yeah but it's Willie Limond. I mean come on now. You almost making it seem like Limond was mediocre. Which is way to high a compliment for him

    Oh come on.

Limond gets knocked out early, even by this old shot version of Morales.

Morales is only like 31 isn't he? 32 or 33 at the oldest. His body isn't completely broken, he's had his rest and if he can get a fight quickly we'll see if he can shake off his noticeable ring rust and feels he can make 135 or 140 without breaking his body down then why not?

What? Skel, is that a serious idea? If Morales really wants to try and win another title, he certainly won't be doing that at Welter thats for sure, or LWelter for that matter. Lightweight is alot more open at the moment with Valero not kickin about so who knows. Fighting Willie Limond does nothing though I would have thought. Nothing atall. Maybe Morales should give Murray a shot.

Well it was from Billy Nelsons mouth Limonds trainer he says they have had an offer from Morales, but Morales people have deny it so I don't think it will happen, silly fight anyway. Limond had the chance to fight Mitchell last time out but turned it down because he had to much on at work wtf?

I can't see any way this would actually happen, Limond is a domestic fighter over here, and Morales has never gone out of the US and Mexico. The only way I can see this as being of an interest at all is if Morales is to try and use it as a platform to get a shot at Khan perhaps. He could use the argument that he KO'd the guy who had Khan on the floor earlier on in his career, but that is a long shot. If this happens I'll eat my hat!
