Default Rashard Evans v Rampage Jackson

Hey guys just wanting to know your opinons/views/thoughts/anlysis' on las nite's UFC fite between Rampage and Rashard Evans.

I for 1 like most had been waiting for this fite to finnally happen (ever since the Ultimate Fighter series where they were the coaches). I am a huge Rampage fan altho I dun mind Rashard either... I was going for Rampage but unfortunately last nite wasn't his nite.

I knew (like most) that Rashard's speed would be his best advatantage and dam hdid he utilise it well last nite. I personally thought tho that the long lay-off out of the octagon did hurt Rampage.

    Whatta u guys think?

    boring fight,

Rashad just ruined it the whole time by clinching ,

was very exciting for the 15 seconds that Rampage nearly stopped him on the ground, i really thought he had him there, but a shame he couldn't finish him off,

a real shame as with all the supposed bad blood between them you would have thought it was going to be an exciting one
    Thats cricket

Agreed, Thought Rampage would have taken a few more risks in the last round, but Evans just spoilt the fight as a spectacle by doing what he done to Thiago Silva. Tactic was just to rush, push, clinch then get seperated ... pure bullshit !

On a brighter note good to see the two Brits on the card winning they fights !

I couldnt see the fight going any other way, maybe thats why it didnt bother me so much, fully expected it. Loved some of undercards, that unexpected Ko from the underdog was treat .

Yea quality KO by Mike Russow on Todd Duffee, he was getting dominated on his feet, then BANG ! goodnight Vienna !

Thought Little Nog should have lost the fight with Brilz mind he was very lucky to get away with that !

And very impressed by John Hathaway's victory over the Nightmare Diego Sanchez ! He's got talent

Yeah I kinda agree, I thought Nog lost and Hathaway did far better than what I thought winning a one sided fight, I was sure Sanchez was pulling that one but Hathaway gets grits.

Boring? That wasnt boring you wouldnt know a boring MMA fight if it slapped you round the face! Both guys got hurt there was some nice takedowns overall it was a decent fight. I was rooting for Rampage but Rashard was the better fighter that night and got the win! Boring pfft
