George Foreman vs Ron Lyle isn't a closet classic mate, because it won the FOTY. And pretty much every boxing fan knows about it, but yes Carl Thompson vs Ezra Sellers was indeed a closet classic, so many knockdowns in it its hard to keep track.

    I didn't say it was - I asked if you'd seen it

Believe me there are many fight fans who haven't seen it, and many too who are unaware of it (especially those aged mid 30s and below)

i only managed to see it for first time last year - showed it at a mates house to a few a couple of years ago before a late night vegas fight. None were aware of it and all were fight fans !

Herol Graham v Rod Douglas is a classic demonstration of boxing beating brawn, and if anyone doubts that the bomber would not have beaten Benn/Eubanks/Watson just watch that contest.

Not quite sure of your definition of closet classics but here are a few that don't get talked about as much as other fights...........
McKinney vs Barrera(one of my personal faves)
    Gatti vs Manfredy
    Holmes vs Norton
    Erik Morales vs McCullough
Julian Jackson vs Herol Graham(based on the ending alone)
Barkley vs Duran(even though it won FOTY, I don't hear a lot about this one)
Tua vs Ibeabuchi(mentioned earlier in thread.....good one btw)
Marquez vs Gainer(..............sike, ugly fight if I have ever seen one)
    Acelino Freitas vs Jorge Barrios
