    Default Hit a training "wall"

Hey what's up guys? Well I have been at the practice of the sweet science for about a year and a half now. Was going to a really good gym but got burnt out after a few months and needed to let my body rest. I am trying to get back into it at home.

A daily routine/work-out for me consists of:

    warm-up w/speed rope for 10 min.

    Shadow boxing for 3 rounds.

I have a free standing bag (sucks when it comes time to hit a HEAVY bag) for 3 rounds

    Push-ups, pull-ups, and dips

    20 minute jog/cool-down

I am trying to utilize what I have at home to get back into shape so I can resume training in January.

I don't want to get bored or lazy before that time, but I need to keep busy and keep the enjoyment of the sport going strong.

How many days a week should I be working out? What can I add or change about what I am already doing?

My weak points have always been my cardio and legs, so I am working at that, especially for the upcoming snowboard season.

I love boxing but feel like I'm at a point where it's just fitness. I want to master it, although I realize one never masters anything.

Any insight appreciated. Thanks & hands up!

I would go back to the gym if you still can. even if you go every other day to train there, and the other days train at your house. Being in the gym is the best place to master the sweet science as much as you can.
