that would depend on your body and amount of fat. there isn't really a cruiser weight in amateurs though any more, but instead it goes from middle weight 75kg (165 lbs), to light heavy 81 kgs (178 lbs), to heavy 91 kg (200 lbs), to super heavy 91 kg+.

you would have to be carrying a fair amount of body fat to get down to 165, but is certainly doable.

I'm 5'9ft . From 2008-2009 I weighed 95kg"s . Then Jan 2010 I became a vegeterian and start training for the 10km. I lost 12kg"s in a few months. And another 3 over a few. For the last 6 months I have weighed 85kg"s . I have almost doubled my road work and do resistance training. I do feel I'm getting stronger and fitter but I'm along way off where I want to be.

The reason I want to be in the 70kg"s zone is that I have fought and wrestle"s all shapels and size and I compete much better against middleweights. Now for the twist. From 2003-2005 I lived in the UK and worked in construction and lived off the land, went vegiterian for the duration and weighted 70kg's.

At that weight it felt more natural being 70kgs fighting 70kg's than I do now against fellow cruizer's weight- heavy weights.

When I played basketball for my country In 1999 I weighed 85kgls so I feel this is my natural weight. I'm 30 years old now.

    Please advise

I can understand your want to get to a lower weight given your height (you'll def be fighting taller fighters at middle and higher), and your previous experiences with it. Best bet is to just start training and cleaning up your diet and see where you end up. You're not new to hard work, so you got that covered. The deal is, being at 30 it might be a bit tougher this time around to get that low..but you'll never know until you try, right?

If you wish to achieve this I believe you need to make radical changes to both your diet and workouts.
We're not talking a change in your approach to your hobby, we're talking about a change in lifestyle.

    Well done, that is tremendous.
Currently working on stabilising my own weight a little lower than ordinarily.
