Amazing KO! Maybe he'll go back down to MW and take Shields' belt from Jacare next. Hold two belts concurrently in a major org for the second time. Hendo WILL go down as a P4P great.

Hendo was awesome he just needs to land that right hand and its over. He will end his days in strikeforce but i wish the UFC had kept him.

Watching that fight really makes me wish we could have seen Hendo vs Chuck 10 years ago. Would have been pure fireworks. Hell Id even like to see Hendo vs Randy right now.

Hendo vs Liddel in '05 would've been AMAZING!

Read this on an MMA site today

Scott Coker: There have been "preliminary discussions only" for Hendo vs. Fedor. Wouldn't be in June/July when Hendo wants to fight next.
Who's next on his list? Henderson today told MMAjunkie.com Radio that a fight with the winner of Gegard Mousasi vs. Mike Kyle is logical. But the new champ said he's also open to a future meeting with his favorite fighter, Fedor Emelianenko.

"Obviously, he's still one of the top guys out there in the world, and it would be a huge challenge," Henderson said. "It would interest me to go up."

Henderson said that while his first priority is defending his new belt, he's open to fighting at middleweight or heavyweight if the right opportunity is presented.
Fedor Emelianenko could challenged for the Strikeforce light-heavyweight title this year.

Sources close to the Russian say he is giving serious consideration to the prospect of fighting newly crowned Dan Henderson at 205 pounds.

The prospect of the fight was put to him by Strikeforce before the weekend’s Henderson/Feijao showdown, which Henderson won by third round KO.
Negotiations are underway and - if past experience is anything to go by - are likely to go on for some time. But the fight is of interest to all parties and is likely to happen later this year.

    And sadly...
If Strikeforce has been talking about putting together Dan Henderson vs. Fedor Emelianenko, it's been a one-sided conversation, according to a representative for the Russian fighter.

M-1 Global Director of Operations Evgeni Kogan today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the topic hasn't even been broached to Emelianenko or M-1 Global.

"There have been no discussions with us," he said. "Any discussions have been solely on the other side of the Atlantic."
