Not always loved by all, but it has to be said his tactics have been spot on for as many fights as I can remember.

If Haye can beat Wlad in a couple months, will Booth be talked about as being up there with the likes of Freddy Roach?

Because in my opinion he has had to mastermind far harder wins than many other trainers. De Gale was odds on favourite, most of us thought he would at the very least edge it, but Groves tactics got him the win against a fighter with arguably more natural skills.

Valuev although just a walking mountain, was still very hard to beat and it was done.

I now have even more confidence in Haye beating Wlad purely down to the tactics being right. It clearly isn't always pretty, or something us fans enjoy, but you can't argue it doesn't get results.

Anyone know how long his unbeaten record as a manager stretches now?

I know he only hand picks the fighters he is willing to work with and he has not been a trainer for too long but so far he proved himself right almost every time.

Very good at matching his fighters as they progress up the ladder.

Against De Gale was the first time I'd seen him look cautious. Probably because he didn't get too much choice in the picking, but he pulled out a result.

I've read that he is obsessed with his fights, lives for it and studies fighters. Always impresses me.
