Rumble in the Bronx is very good too - children loved the mistakes at the end. That was one of his first movies in the US.

Movie NINJA starring Scott Atkins came out in the same year with NINJA ASSASSINS and got overshadowed because of NA's star Rain... Rain is shit and know nothing about Martial Arts..

NINJA is one of the best Ninja movies in recent times..

Watched it mainly for Francoise Yip ;-)

She was also in Jet's Black Mask

13 assassins is brutal and very gory film.

Japanese and China do not always have the best relationship do they?

China and Korea have a long history with Japan... if you look at all the martial arts films, it's always about the so and so kungfu master against samurais or Tae Kwon Do fighting samurais..

In asia, samurais are sort of looked down upon for using swords...

Did not realise that about the Samurai, I always thought they were seen as honourable warriors. Wolverine fights one in his latest film.

So Kung Fu is China (although originated in India), Karate is Japanese and what is Korean martial arts?

Tae Kwon Do is Korean art... most of the high flying, fancy kicks you see are Tae Kwon Do moves..

Samurais are honourable amongs japanese but in the eyes of koreans and chinese, they are cowards hiding behind a sword..

Its like a bare handed guy fighting a dude with a baseball bat. There is no honor in that..
