Default David Haye: I'll Retire Vitali!!

David Haye is Ready To Fight: I'll Retire Vitali Klitschko! - Boxing News

"If I am given a rematch against Wladimir - which I do not believe I will - or Vitali will fight me, I will postpone my retirement for six months," Haye told the German daily Bild.

His decision to delay his plans was influenced by family and advice from Britain's former heavyweight world champion Lennox Lewis, who stopped Vitali in the sixth round eight years ago.

"I've reconsidered everything after talking to my family and meeting with Lennox Lewis in Montego Bay," said Haye.

"We chilled out there and Lennox gave me some tips on how to beat Vitali, just like he did in 2003." Haye said he would be watching Vitali fight Adamek on television and was hoping for the 40-year-old champion to keep his title.

"I will keep my fingers crossed Klitschko wins, something I wouldn't normally do to save my life," said Haye. "I want him to clean up this Polish plum and retain his title so that he will fight me.

"Wladimir couldn't put me down and he had the referee, judges and fans on his side. I had no real chance. Vitali should give me the chance, if he dares. He is supposed to have a dangerous punch, which I doubt."

Having also blamed his defeat to Wladimir on a broken toe, Haye said he was ready to fight again.

"Yeah, my broken toe is okay again," he said, adding, "Vitali is 40 and will stop at some point. For his finale, there is no better opponent than me. And I will send him into retirement, but without his championship belt."
I was actually shaking my head when I read this.

Everyone knows he is a fraud, wish he'd just fuck off.

All he wants is the money. He can't beat Vitali who is, by far, the better fighter of the two. He will get knocked out. Three of his last four fights have STUNK. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie and I don't wanna spend the next six months reading his "im gonna make the robot malfunction" LIES anymore. Sick to the back teeth of him.

You think he would be a bit more humble after last time but no still a cunt, it is cringe worthy. This made me feel a bit sick:

"Wladimir couldn't put me down and he had the referee, judges and fans on his side. I had no real chance. Vitali should give me the chance, if he dares. He is supposed to have a dangerous punch, which I doubt."

NO DAVID YOU HAD NO REAL CHANCE BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

I don't usually say this about boxers because I usually respect all of them but Haye is a great A cunt. The quote you posted backs this up. And the annoying thing is, the fight will happen...

This is the problem with articles you just don't get the proper sense of tone. It should read "I'll retire....Vitali"

Haye is not a fraud. He is a very very good cruiserweight, who was not big enough to knock Wlad out of his stride. I think he is a tasteless self-hyper ........ but he is a fighter who can fight.

Audley Harrison is a fraud ..... Dominic Guinn is a fraud, but lets be fair, haye is a decent fighter at the right weight.

    Definition of fraud:

    1. Wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.
    2. A person or thing intended to deceive others, typically by unjustifiably claiming or being credited with accomplishments or qualities

    Haye, literally, is a fraud.

You have obviously forgotten about his toe, haye is a hero for even making it to the ring on time........... oh :S

Haye is annoying, he made himself look bad v wlad why doesn't he work his way back up the rankings, instead he just starts with this nonsense again.... To me it just looks like he is cashing out(again) and doesnt want to be in too much danger of being found out v other contenders. He is brilliant at marketing himself, although I think it is not very difficult to milk the british public from money(public not british boxing fans)

    i bet you do

doesnt sound like a fraud to me
I won't enjoy the hype AT ALL because we all know everything that comes out of his mouth before every fight is just that - bullshit. And I can GUARANTEE you I won't pay for the fight.

Read the defintion of fraud - that is exactly what he is. I didn't expect you to agree anyway as you are so unbelievably biased it's untrue.
