This fight finished in very controversial fashion and will undoubtably get a lot of people talking.
I imagine a rematch would sell pretty well.
I'd love to see it, presuming Floyd continues to avoid Manny.
Any thoughts?

I think it is a legit rematch as the fight was competitive (I thought) up until that point and the end was not persuasively conclusive.
In has the added benefit in Floyd's case of putting off having to deal with Manny.
Hidden Content Bring me the best and I will knock them out-Alexis Arguello
I'm not God, but I am something similar-Robert Duran
I hope not Floyd will just knock him out again and get no credit from Larry afterwards. Waste of time.
I can't see the point in a rematch. Other than the few seconds before that headbutt, Mayweather was controlling the fight. That was no turning point.
I think there should be a rematch. Especially since the Pac fight is never going to happen. I gave up on that fight a long time ago.
if ortiz didn't have that smug smile after the fight i would have agreed there should be a rematch.
There is no point in a rematch apart from money. Ortiz was completely outclassed and had lost every round. In the corner he got pissed off at not being able to hit Floyd and when Floyd mocked him he lost his temper and butted.
Ortiz butted because he knew he was losing the fight and he just didn't have the tools to win the fight. Anyone has boxed knows that when you lose your temper then you lose the fight and Ortiz was made to lose his temper as he was out of his depth throughout. He was so out of his depth he was busy trying to kiss Floyd's ass instead of actually boxing and he got KTFO. Karma for butting IMO.
It makes me laugh that there are so many on this forum who hate Floyd so much that this will be taken as an example of him having lost it and grown old. What a load of rubbish.
Still, if that is the general consesnus then maybe Pacquiao will grow some balls and agree to take the Olympic drug tests so they can get the big fight on. I doubt it though, both Pacquiao and Roach know that Mayweather schools their man 9 times out of 10. I suspect that it is more likely that he fights Margarito again or maybe Ortiz, he seems to like fighting men coming off defeats...
There won't be a rematch and why should there be?
Ortiz blew his big chance, time for someone else to get a big payday. More chance of Khan vs Floyd than a rematch.
Expect to see Ortiz have a tune up fight and then fight Pac
The sad thing is manny will fight ortiz early 2012. Thats what they do.
Or you could have it the other way around ... with Gayweather growing some balls and fight Pacman withouth all these bullshit. Pac has been fighting the guys Gayweather should have been fighting YEARS ago. Nope. Floyd will never fight Pac or anyone who has the slightest chance at beating him. Pac's not the first one Floyd has ducked. He won't be the last.
I just watched this.
Very unsportsmanlike like Mayweather but within the rules - but then again Ortiz drew first blood with the headbutt.
And Ortiz was looking to Cortez.....
50-50 for me. Bad sportsmanship on both sides but PBF won the fight with is act.
Don't want to see a rematch.
But I hope Pac fucks him up (and then Larry Merchant comes in ring and kicks Floyd in head when he's down)
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
actually having just thought about it some more if some twat had hedbutted me and I was within the rules to crack him at earliest opportunity I probably would. Ortiz was trying to really hurt him with that butt - regtretted it straight way though and over apologising lost him the fight.
I can't blame Floyd for this one

there's really no point to a rematch. ortiz seems pretty satisfied with the outcome. lol
