Default So how many are still picking Pac over Floyd?

So lets get this out of the way, I know "Boxing Math" (A>B, B>C, so therefore A<C) is a rediculous and faulty way to predict a fight. I know that even though Floyd looked better against JMM than Pac did, Pac looked better against DLH and Hatton than Floyd did. That's not my point at all.

But styles make fights, and we've seen JMM 3 TIMES give Pacquiao absolute fits with his comparable speed and superior boxing IQ (for the record I believe Pac deserved the nod in the 2nd fight, but I feel JMM clearly won fight 1 and 3).

With all due respect to JMM, who after this fight I believe has a STRONG case for best Mexican fighter of all time, Floyd not only has the same attributes that JMM used to befuddle Pac 3 times, he is by far SUPERIOR in each of those catagories. Floyd is bigger and faster, has better defense, has a higher boxing IQ, shows an uncanny ability to adjust and adapt to an opponent as the rounds go on, ect (and for those who say Floyd has no heart or chin, you don't know what you're talking about).

So after watching Pac made to look silly by JMM once again, how many of you can say, with confidence, that you still pick Pac to beat Floyd, who is essentially a bigger, faster, more skilled version of JMM?

They sure do, but why is JMM's slick counterpunching style so much better than Floyd's slick counterpunching style?

It's not what happens in the ring that matters when it comes to these guys If u like manny then you hate Floyd and think pac wins . If you're a floyd fan you think he invented boxing and ten manny's couldn't beat him blah blah , there are decent arguments on each side imo . I've always said manny may be a better fighter but floyd is by far a better boxer and would probably disappoint a lot of people take almost no chances and weasel his way past manny pretty easy .

JMM has been dropped a lot more than Floyd has.

Styles make fights. But Floyd is a great counter puncher also. So Floyd's style isn't good for Manny also. It would be a close fight, with Mayweather having an edge at the end of it

Floyd only has the best chin in boxing cos hes too good/slick for anyone to land a big punch on it!!! Floyds easily the best boxer skill wise around, hes a defensive master and adapts to beat whoever/watever styles infront of him, the big question for me is is floyd slick enough to get out of the way of pacs furious/relentless attacks?!

Are you some kind of idiot?

Floyd has never been dropped (let's not get into the Zab fight for now). How many times has JMM been dropped?

I picked floyd before the fight and I'm still saying it. On that performance I can't see roach wanting it - maybe chase a fourth with JMM and say pac had on off night. Marquez should tell them to jump.

Floyd got the shit rocked out of him a couple times, had he ever been caught flush like JMM has then he wouldn't get up.
