AWESOME FIGHT!, Segura looked superb against Calderon, but lets face it, Ivan has virtually no power, Marquez is the bigger guy and he can bang, he has a hell of a chin after seeing the beating he took from the much bigger Donaire, IMO it'll be a war while it lasts but Tyson will wear Segura down and take him out down the stretch
Yea man. Segura deserves credit for taking Calderun's 0 but technically, Calderun was a bit past it.. Plus, calderun's feather punching style just suited him perfectly.. Kinda like Cotto-Malignaggi... Dudes never had to worry about incoming featherdusters..
I also think Marquez beats Segura..
I got Segura destroying Marquez!

that's the problem with looking past your opponent.
Yep, segura had it coming, braggin about punking Viloria in sparring sessions and having no doubts about a knockout.. Fighters who usually come in with a KO mentality usually ends up going 12 rounds or losing.. Damm I should have stuck with my gut feelings and put something on viloria..
I should have known.. When he lost to Canchilla, I knew he was just a limited fighter with punching power but he opened some eyes with victories over Calderon... Calderun victories combined with Viloria's obvious flaws and inconsistency, it wasnt logical at all to pick Viloria..
I think Capetillos might have cursed his fighters.. Segura is in the hospital right now getting treated for orbital bone fracture which the same thing Margarito suffered..
Im happy for Viloria though. He should fight Marquez or Wonjongkam next!!
Viloria can fight & although he has his flaws he is still a very good boxer who can bang. He was the under dog coming into this fight but he was a very live dog & probably shouldn't have been as underestimated as he was.
