WBO is an awesome organization. How can anyone question the legitimacy of their belts and rankings?

Just look at their rankings at 168:

    Champ Stieglitz
    1-Kessler
    2-Pavlik
    3-Groves
    4-Abraham
    5-Degale
    6-Anthony Dirrell

Lets see Kessler has done nothing since pulling out of the super 6.
Pavlik lost at MW, and had a tough fight at 168 where he looked like dogshit for alot of the fight.
Groves-really he's 3rd best in the world at 168? Maybe in a few years.
Abraham-so he gets his ass handed to him 3 times in the super 6 and he is 4??
Degale-he loses to Groves but you think he is 5th best in the world?
Dirrell-It is the wrong fucking Dirrell. Anthony Dirrell hasn't proven much, Andre Dirrell is the one that fought (and ended up pulling out of the super 6).

    Where's Froch?
    Where's Bute?
    Where's Ward?
The top 3 in the world at 168 and not even ranked.
Where is Dirrell? He sat for a long time after pulling out of the super 6, but he looked impressive against a limited opponent in his comeback fight.

But the WBO belts really mean something. They rank Abraham but don't rank the 3 guys that beat Abraham!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. this is a joke.

What month are those ratings from?

The February 168 ratings look like this:

    CHAMPION ROBERT STIEGLITZ GER
    1 Mikkel Kessler DK
2 Arthur Abraham (WBO Europe) ARM
    3 George Groves GB
    4 Andre Dirrell USA
    5 James DeGale (Int-Cont.) GB
    6 Anthony Dirrell USA
    7 Kelly Pavlik USA
    8 Nikola Sjekloca SER
9 Ezequiel Osvaldo Maderna (Latino) ARG
    10 Nader Hamdan (Asia-Pacific) AUST
11 Willberforce Shihepo (WBO Africa) NAM
    12 Adonis Stevenson (NABO) CAN
    13 Maxim Vlasov RUS
    14 Edwin Rodriguez DR
    15 Renan St. Juste CAN

As for Bute & Ward...I could be wrong but I don't think the alphabet groups put other groups beltholders in their rankings.

It's not really worth debating which belt is the best/worst. They all have faults.

IBF - Took bribes from promoters in exchange for ratings back in the 90s. I believe it was King or Arum. Also wasn't it them that rated a dead guy? I will give them credit for rarely handing out "interim" belts. Can't remember the last time I saw an IBF interim champ.

WBO - Ranks obscure fighters and lets promoters like Warren & Universum milk belts with weak title defenses.

WBC - Have shown a bias towards their countrymen. Bullshit Diamond and Silver belts...not to mention countless interim belts. The whole Rocchigiani fiasco.

WBA - They let Guillermo Jones hold a belt hostage without fighting for 2 years. They recognize 3 champs in one weight division. Bullshit Super, Regular and guess what Interim "Champions".

    all have faults.

    None of them mean anything.

Ring belt is the only belt that is legit.
