I had Molina 5-1 at the halfway point. I had Molina 7-3 at the time of stoppage. However you see it Surely Molina is ahead in rounds? Jim Watt had it Kirkland 6-4! He simply scored against Molina cos he didnt like his spoil style and thats NOT how fights should be scored. He nullified Kirkland whether you liked what he was doing or not. Its up to the ref to tell him not to spoil not the judges.

I wonder how the 3 judges had this fight?

Funnily enough I've disliked sky's commentary for some time now.

It seems to me that in the absence of a Britishfighter in a fight they are merely going through the motions.
In z number of fights between American prospects theyhaveruined the action for me.

Watt does not talk about the action as it happens , he just whitters on about statistics , he should retire and do us all a favour.

I dont know why Sky keep Waatt as a commontator. He is fine talking about boxing in the studio but ringside I have disliked him from the days he was on ITV.

Watt gets excited and talks drivel. He cant be unbiased, he always sides with a fighter.

The best commentator iv heard is Antonio Tarver. Even when commentating over fighters hes faced or is in competition with he is unbiased and fair. Jones jr is also good, they are both insightfull.

Lennox Lewis is terrible! Tyson gets too excited enjoying watching the action

Your all completely mental, Jim Watt is brilliant. Commentators are best as a double act. Ex-pro and layman to represent the casual fan. Ian Darke is a genius in that he manages to be almost completely innocuous and yet at the same time infuriate Jim Watt. He tries to hide it but Jim Watt is seriously pissed underneath at what he probably sees as the clueless Darke. I miss their chemistry. The new guy is a bit too safe and unlikely to say stupid things to anger Watt or contradict him and consequently people are taking it out on Jim. Seriously he is usually quite unbiased and will often be the only Brit to caution the rest of the team for their unrealistic forecasts. I like his mumbling, his dulcet tones provide a great contrast to the estuary blahblish of his co commentator and to be honest what is the alternative? Duke Mckenzie .. Steve Bunce? Actually Mcrory and Woodhall are ok.
What do you guy's think of the old school style of legends like Reg Gutteridge and Harry Carpenter? ah...thread idea
