    Default Graham Bonnet

Do any of you other old people remember him in Rainbow? (don't know where he came from, band-wise). When I was 19-23, or so, I used to try and sing his songs in copy bands. I spent a ton of money learning how to sing (including lessons with the woman that worked with Axl Rose, Keel, Black n Blue, Alice Cooper, 38 Special, and others) and came to one conclusion: I had been on my way to becoming a pretty good fighter.
At any rate, Graham Bonnet could really sing. I couldn't.

Great voice. looked cooler with short hair. Were The Marbles an English or an Australian band? He has that kind of ballsy Australian sound.

Love that song Andre! Very underrated group Rainbow....I think the name kind of did damage to them

Fantastic singer but had issues with life. Got booted from Rainbow by Ritchie Blackmore (another guy with issues but supreme talent and the guy whose group Rainbow was) and ended up singing with the Michael Schenker Group but got a. pissed before and b. his dick out during a gig and got the boot. Hopefully the fucker is still making a lliving somewhere. Massive talent.

For a long time he had a band called Alcatrazz; I think Steve Vai played guitar for them for awhile. Last time I read about them, maybe the late 1990s, they were still at it, rehearsing at Bonnet's house in the San Fernando Valley.
