Default 121 out of 136 fans and press had Dawson beating Hopkins

As some might know i collect fight scores (blog in signature below) , for the Hopkins vs Dawson fight i by far was able to collect the most scores from the press and fans this week...136 in total.

    Of this....

The press guys which incude , Dan Rafael , Steve Kim , Steve Bunce , Kevin Iole etc etc all had Dawson winning...Total 18-0

For the total press and fans scores they read

    121 had Dawson winning
    6 had Hopkins winning
    9 had it a draw

    i scored 117-112 Dawson

only 1 guy from Saddo - Hulk scored for Hopkins (Hulk)

    cheers for any comments

Wonderful job, bro. It's great having someone collect scores like that. Sort of puts everything into perspective. I first saw you doing this for the Rios-Abril highway robbery......er..... I mean, fight. And I thought it was fantastic. Great job.

I saw the fight earlier but wasn't paying close enough attention to score it. A lot of the rounds must have been very close if some people gave the fight to Hopkins.

Looked as though it was a fair win for Dawson when I was watching.

Does anyone know if Hopkins has done an interview yet, has he cried robbery?

Some rounds were close, but not hard to score given Hopkins tactics, imo. I just watched this fight and only got the sense that Bernard was even trying to win 4 rounds, of which I gave him 3. If you don't have a soft spot for him being 47, or consider spoiling a viable way to score points, it becomes very easy to score. 9-3, or 8-4 at worst for Dawson imo.

I'm proud to be the only one.

It was by no means a robbery as Hopkins is crying, both men did very little.

It was a close fight though contrary to popular belief.

Once again Hopkins clinched his way through a fight, he is done now. He lost this fight by not doing enough, he wasn't assertive like he was against Tarver and Pavlik. Dawson won this fight comfortably in another snooze fest performance by Hopkins.

I believe that Hopkins will fight again, not against Dawson however.

What motivates Hopkins the most, is money, as long as he can still get decent paydays, I wouldn't be surprised if he fights 'til he's 50.

I do know this, Chad vs Hopkins II, is the last Hopkins fight i'll ever watch.

He was probably doing as much as he could against Dawson who was a very tough opponent. I don't ever recall Hopkins being hit with as many clean, hard shots and as much as Hop pretended they didn't hurt, you could tell from his body language, that they really got his attention.

I remember seeing Hopkins hit alot by Ornelas and thinking wtf? He was catching garbage hooks and gave up ground early but it was suprising. He did as much shuck & jive as he did in many fights when tagged and reset. Pascal hit him much cleaner and with more force I think.

He actually was very classy and respectful at the post-fight press conference. No crying, no claims of robbery. It's up on the Ring website.

Hopkins' face actually looked worse after this fight than I've ever seen it look before (not that he looked terrible - he just usually looks like he hasn't even been in a fight). He had some real bruising and swelling on his right cheek.

Thanks I did read a report of the post fight press conference and it seemed as though he acted with class. I'll check it out
