That's the way it is, not the way it ends
I did feel the same as Armyash, I almost felt sorry for Peterson as I thought he had been eating all of these nutrition suplements ad then without knowing, took something he shouldn't have. A bit like Toure taking his wifes slimming pills in English football last year.
But if this is high grade stuff, then he is an idiot.
That not good. Why would he need synthetic testosterone though? Boxing has been proven to naturally increase testosterone levels on its own. Dude must have a deficiency.
"A liar can turn truth into lies. Weakness can turn pain into hurt."
This dude has alot of explaining to do.
Sorry if this is a re-post.
It says the first fight could be changed to a No Contest and Amir will be reinstated as the champion.
PETERSON VS. KHAN II CANCELLATION ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON? || FIGHTHYPE
Boxing - Peterson tested positive for steroid
fight is probably off then
It says that the results came back in March! Why has it taken this long for anyone to know?
The drug testing people seemed on Lamonts side in the quotes "... He has not tested positive before or after that reading and he is commended for taking the tests and wanting to play fair"
I think the fight still happens and is covered in controversy again. If it was going to have been called off, they would have done it 2 months ago when they had the positive test result.
Khan must be very annoyed getting ready to get his titles back and this happens. Khan is in a state of limbo. Do they strip Peterson? Does Khan still fight him? What happens?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I'd imagine they would strip him. Big dummy. Khan v Marquez
What's Randall Bailey up to?
Apparently it was a semi solid soaked in by holding it under your armpit for a whole.
Also used then for Khan 1 without realising they were banned.
Very disappointing from Peterson, and with his feel-good story too. He's one guy I probably wouldn't have suspected. Hopefully, this serves to push forward new rules regarding drug-testing for boxing.
It looks like Peterson admitted to taking a testasterone pellet prior to the first Khan fight, in which case that loss should be voided.
Can someone answer me a question? They had VADA testing for this fight. If they had stuck with the normal, Nevada state testing, would they have caught this?

And if he took it before the first fight like he is saying, how didn't they pick it up before the last fight?
Everything about Lamont just seems dodgy to be honest, likes he's a front for some mafia mobsters.
Just let the fighters fight. This sh*t will be out of his system by fight night if they'll make sure he's not gonna have another shot. This will give Khan the confidence. And let's just see if it affects Peterson, knowing the 'advantage' is gone ala Margarito when he got caught against Mosley. If Peterson wins, then let's forget this crap. Hate to see fights cancelled because of all this nonsense.
An empty can is always noisy.
He's had anabolic-steroid-releasing implants ("pellets") since before the first fight. Sure they can take them out and he might not have abnormally high T-levels on fight-night, but he's had the advantage of them during training, which is a much bigger deal.
I'm very curious to see what the Peterson camp's explanation is. The two things that make no sense to me are:
1. If you have actual steroid implants, why would you agree to hardcore olympic-style testing (and not remove them and flush your system immediately)?
2. Why come out and admit that you had them already at the time of the first fight? (I mean, the honesty is good, I'm just wondering why they would volunteer this -- I don't think it's just because they're good people.)
