I was gunna post this. Great to see he's negotiating with top contenders. I heard he was in negotiations with 5 top ranked Heavyweights. Boystov, Povetkin, Pulev, Helenius and Charr. My money is still on Manuel Charr. It was the first name that came to mind for me. I think it'll be easier to sell since Charr is a mouth, he turned up at the Haye-Chisora post fight presser to challenge Haye and he was Vitali's last fight.

I don't think any of them will trouble Haye, it's arbitrary trying to guess who he'll fight as I don't think it matters until he gets to a title shot.

I don't see how he won't get to the title shot.

That or Valuev but I agree. I was hoping he would take on an American because it might raise his profile in the U.S. a little bit more, but hey, Pulev is probably better than most American contenders.

Why raise his profile in America though in this current day and age?

Not like there is anyone for him to fight there! Who's their best? Thompson? Wilder? No need for him to fight over there.

Haye takes em both without a sweat.

    ??

I never said there was or even insinuated that there was.

I merely pointed out that there is not much point in Haye worrying about America as his target are not American.

Also if I remember rightly, the klitschkos don't even get shown in the USA, so why would Haye bother?

    What of it?

I think Haye fans will be in for a bit of a surprise. I'm not saying David isn't talented, he IS talented, but he (and his fans) assume he's the #3 best (behind Wlad & Vitali) heavyweight by miles.....I don't see it so clear cut. Haye's successes at heavyweight have come vs older worn down fighters: Valuev, Ruiz, Barrett, Harrison....those guys were very old it's still up in the air as to how he will handle a young prime fighter. Yes Chisora was a very good performance, but that guy is extremely hard to read on whether he'll actually put forth an effort or not you've got him shitting the bed vs Fury, then busting up Helenius, and giving Vitali a decent fight, then getting blasted by Haye. That said I'm not 100% sold on Pulev as he's not been in vs the greatest fighters yet either. It will be a very interesting match.

I will say this though, I don't believe David Haye will fight someone he doesn't think he can KO by the middle rounds. Part of that is how Haye and his management percieve the other fighters but part of that is I think they also don't want Haye to be drawn into a battle because they have worries about how he'll hold up.

I think and have always thought Haye vs Adamek would be a good fight

I agree, I do believe he is the 3rd by some distance, but weather I'm right or wrong about how far ahead he is, he is still 3rd in reality, weather by inch or by mile.

But again I'm stubborn and won't be moved, even if I am wrong.

I think its up to Haye to prove it. He certainly COULD be #3 but he could also be challenged for that by others.

Well, Arreola/Stiverne winner vs. Haye would be a good fight, as would Tony Thompson for that matter. Thompson has accomplished more than Pulev has accomplished.

Also, I wasn't suggesting he fight in the U.S.
