Default Eddie Hearn has confirmed Kell Brook is injured again! Possible withdrawal

Brook Injured, Hearn Confirms, Kell To Withdraw Again? - Boxing News

Wow, if he pulls out I can see him losing his mandatory position. He is currently having treatment for a foot injury. I think withdrawal is likely.

This is a disaste, not only for Kell but also for British boxing.

I already felt like Alexander wanted no part of Brook, so I bet he'll do all he can to get this fight off.

Disappointed as I have been looking forward to this for ages now.

It is a bit of a gutter. Brook could nail Alexander, but not with a dodgy foot to launch off.

Foot injury? Come the fuck on. David Haye got in the ring against Wlad with a foot problem. I don't even think he had a foot the way he claimed to be bothered by it. So if Haye can get into the ring without a foot, Brook who has two feet should be able to as well.

Either way it's not surprising. He never really wanted the fight anyway. He'll pull out again. Keep his 0. And than go face another scrub. Maybe Ernie Smith wants a 4th fight

Why did you feel Devon wanted no part of him? It was Brook the pulled out the first time and then after Devon got an injury people were claiming he pulled out to fight Mayweather. Now Brook has again pulled out. Sure a lot of injuries happening these days. I still have this gut feeling that Kessler is going to pull out of the Froch fight.

Devon wanted Floyd, and he will avoid Kell if he can. Brooks would beat him but this fight has been off and on for ages.

I believe the injuries are genuine.

But they way Alexander talked and the rumors about mayweather just made me wonder, would he take the fight if it wasn't mandatory?

He could make more money elsewhere. I reckon Devon's very happy.

You going to eat some crow when kess steps in the ring? You're a very knowledgable poster but what's with the whole doubting kess thing? This isn't going to be the first time he steps in the lions den, he's done it a few times, and id argue fighting joe in wales was far more hostile territory. What gives you the impression that kess is scarred? As far I know when he pulled out the super six he had a career threatening eye injury...

Fair enough but I did say a gut feeling. The Nottingham crowd is unreal and so is Wales. I cant really draw a distinction. I'm not suggesting he's scared but that he's apprehensive. Not sure I buy the reason he exited the tourney. It was reported that he had double vision and yet a week or so after he left the tourney he was interviewed on a street in Denmark and then jumped in his car and sped off. I think he lost something upstairs be it desire or will I don't know but he carries himself differently. Now if I was to bet well I'd bet he shows up and the fight gets done. I was being a little cynical based on the Brook/Alexander thing but I have been skeptical since he signed to fight Carl.
