Default Milan Milendo in his first world title shot against Juan Estrada

There has been many Filipino prospects being hailed as the next Manny Pacquiao but all have failed..

Milendo may not be the next Pac but at the same time, he's not a disappointing hypejob like the Boom Booms and the Concepcions.. He's alot better than those..

Estrada has shown some badassness in his last few bouts and the momentum is definitely on his side.

I think Milendo is a real talent and will show a good account of himself but i dont see him winning..

    Thoughts?

I saw Jean Perez go to the Philippines and whip his ass. But since Milendo's aunt, uncle and 2nd grade teacher were judging the fight he got the gift win. He's 29-0. He should be 28-1.

Tough fight for Melindo. Estrada not that big puncher but not feather fisted either. His workrate is excellent.

Just as expected, Melindo has substance and gave a good account of himself against a more experienced fighter.. He may have lost this fight but his stock rises and I think he'll gain alot from this fight..

Estrada is a beautiful boxer and he's earned the right to face Roman Gonzalez in a rematch..

I never thought much of Melindo. I think he'll end up with the same amount of success as Bautista, Banal and Sonsona

I think Penalosa is the next big thing from the Philipines
