Default Victor Ortiz vs. Lou Collazo finalized

Victor Ortiz-Luis Collazo Set For January 30 at Barclays - Boxing News

Intriguing matchup. I watched some of Lou's last fight and he looked good. Not quite as sharp as before, but close.

I think he'll upset Ortiz and outslick him. Thought Berto just barely edged Collazo; it was very close though.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

looking forward to this one. I am one of those odd Ortiz fans. He really needs to win this to regain any relevance. I wish the fight was in my neck of the woods as I would like to see it.

I like ortiz the fighter just as long as he keeps his mouth closed. Few years back I might have picked collazo but now he's clearly being brought in as a steppibg stone.

It might be a close fight but im picking Ortiz with confidence.

Floyd aside, both guys Ortiz has lost to were brought in the same way. Collazo was the craftier and hungrier fighter, if he's still got it I think he wins.

Valid point and something I actually thought about. I just feel Vic will have a do or die attitude and will be victorious but Vic has some cobwebs he needs to clear up.

    Yes he's a bit of a dummy n a male bimbo.

Good action fighter when he's in tho.

I just don't know where or what Ortiz is anymore and I defended him after Maidana and even Mayweather, briefly. Collazo is clearly being set up as a name bounce back but at least he didn't walk away. He looked southpaw sharp and set traps vs a rangy Alan Sanchez last out. Clearly Ortiz will try to blow him out but he's on a long fine line back and can clearly be frustrated and makes costly mistakes. Screw it, I'm rolling with the crust, Collazo.

Collazo was dropped and beaten by Freddy Hernandez. That tells me everything I need to know. Ortiz by mid-round stoppage

This is a tough fight for Ortiz to return to the ring on imo

Sure Collazo has seen better days but if he has anything even remotely left then he will cause some difficulties.
