    Default Chisora challenges Wilder.

Dereck Chisora sent an open letter to Deontay Wilder challenging him to a fight in 2014.

Chisora has hit his peak and is on the slide (due to his fighting style and mentality). Wilder, though untested has enough firepower to stop Chisora who does not have much power at all.

In that letter, Chisora accused Wilder of fighting nobodies, but it's not like Chisora's resume is much better. He lost to Haye, Vitali, and Fury, he "won" two of his last four fights by bullshit stoppage, and I had him LOSING in his fight with Pala, who was a late replacement.

Chisora's best fight was against Helenius who was a bit untested himself. He stopped a few older fellas, but never mixed it up with anyone before he got injured

I don't like him but he had a good performance against Vitali ( Vitali's toughest fight since comeback) and beat Helenius unofficially

Its not a bad go and Wilder needs it much more than Chisora as far as at least stamping his creds. I read Wilders response and basically couldn't understand what the Hell he was saying but it boils down to 'I'm already being handed a title shot and waiting for the champion to go away'.

Good on Chisora. Atleast he has heart and toughness, he isn't afraid.

It will be the best test so far for Deontay. I think Deontay's power and range will turn the trick against Chisora. But it's not certain.

I think it's a winnable fight for Wilder.

Chisora is the kind of opponent Wilder needs to step up to, and like said above this is a very winnable fight for Wilder, given that Chisora isn't a big banger and is probably on the decline.

Good on Chisora for challenging Wilder, too. Boxing needs more of that.

Price has turned down Chisora so this would be a good fight to test Wilder.

Why do people think Chisora is declining or has peaked already? Not that I disagree because I think he's boxing at his full potential but I would be interested to get peoples thoughts on whats pushed back his progress.

Wilder will be decent fav. Prob 1/6 or so. But it's a great fight to show how Wilder is. Chisora will be in his face and will show wilder no respect. I don't get all the criticism for Chisora suggesting he is on the slide. He's no world beater but he beats a lot of the pretenders in the div. he got a bullshit stoppage against Scott in a close fight at the time but momentum was with him at the point of the stoppage and I'd sy he was going to stop him anyway. Put up a good fight against Vitali, was robbed against Helenius, was stupid for coming in in such bad shape against fury, he would have won if he prepared like he did for the Vitali fight and was in a good scrap with Haye. In a division where contenders are scared to fight eachother Chisora is a breath of fresh air.
