There is little resistance anymore. I think one of the tools was to get people relying on their jobs, make sure they had children, and then year by year erase unions, make sure wages declined in real terms, bump up the costs of education for the children, encourage debt. Then of course, you find they are spying on everything, are negotiating your life away, and national sovereignty has been sold in the name of 'globalisation' which of course was always a manufactured term coated in positivity when it meant the destruction of nation states. Then of course you have Britain proudly declaring that 70 is the age to retire. It's just horrific. I'm sure some would like to work at 70, but people at 70 are old and where are the jobs for them? It's beyond savage.
You've got the Trans-Pacific one and the Trans-Atlantic one. They're going to go through and you can forget about national sovereignty afterwards. Corporate lawyers are going to control global trade policy and tell nations what their laws are. Not officially but they'll be able to quietly override any national or international court.
Surely nations should be able to kill troublesome lawyers like drones kill troublesome Pakistani's who say no. There will always be resistance. What gets thrown can always be thrown back. They don't get to pin you down with a suit, you spoil the suit and spit in their faces.
I like the drone idea.
Avaaz - Before Monsanto uncorks the champagne
Oh well, heres one shot at leaning on one of three countries who can hold them up.
Avaaz is a great tool for the people Ive been surprized at the outcome of some petitions throughout the year.So these signings are not a waste of time.
Specially the ones concerning some countries that through islam support male domination and rape of women so courts bring rape cases against (the women who were raped instead of the men) so their problem goes away.
Only once Avaaz asked if signatories would mind putting in a few dollars each to support a legal case. Avaaz was overwhelmed by support for that particular young girl who sued and won against the police and now there is a legal team set up for others like her, sold into marriage raped early..you know the stories.
Anyway take the time a few seconds just to sign this petition, join the millions who at least try to help.
