    Default Rigo

This man is an all time great. His fights may not be your cup of tea but don't let his career pass without taking pause to appreciate his abilities. He has you before you or even he throws a punch. His spacial awareness is brilliant. He completely controls his opponent like a puppet master.

Yea, he was/is one of the better Cubans from these last 2-3 Olympiads.

No fritz, no flash- just a highly skilled professional fighter is what he has become.

He has the potential to go down as a true all time great, obviously he has all the tools in place.

Now lets see if he can sustain his brilliance over a long and fruitful career.

Lomachenko is the only guy with a chance of beating him in the current batch of bantom, super bantom and feather weight fighters. Even still I think Loma would be wise to wait a few years before getting in with him.

Rigo is possibly the most naturally talented boxer ever.

He is a exceptional boxer. His dominance may be a double edged sword. So much was made of Agbeko 'bringing nothing' but with a guy like Rigo he is the one who takes everything away. The ease and poise with which he has done it thus far still goes unappreciated by some.

People are just scared to throw against him. I think in the first round Rigo landed 2 or 3 counter upper cuts and agbeko didn't throw a right hand again in the fight

Common today. Guys get shut out that were elite going in against the likes of Floyd and Rigo and they are then tossed aside as mere opponents because of how good their conqueror was.

I think Rigo will go down as one of the best in his class by career's end. His talent is undeniable.

Looking like obvious but sometimes great talent rises and fizzles fast but I doubt it here. The force is strong with this one!

I think he needs to move up in weight. He has nothing else to do at 122.

before i say this, i do agree that rigo has looked very impressive as of late.

but here is my thing. i always said that donaire would have trouble with rigo because of the speed factor. donaire likes to stay on the outside and look for that one punch and i knew that it would be very difficult to do that against rigo. he did drop him though. also, agbeko has only fought once in the past 2 years and moved up in weight. i really dont think that agbeko of a few years ago would have done so poorly.

i still think that somebody who would really pressure him like mares would give him trouble. we have seen him before have trouble with pressure fighters in the past. all im saying is that ill wait a few more fights until i start saying that he will be a HOFer. i have seen too many fighters go through an impressive stretch in their careers and then start to decline quickly. maybe he will end up just dominating everybody. im not sure but im not ready to start calling him elite yet.

That's exactly right power puncher, he may go on to be great, I think he will. But he could fizzle, further quality testing required!

He has to be up there on P4P lists. Other than Leo Santa Cruz, there is nothing left for him at 122lbs and he won't get Leo because he's with GBP. No way would Frampton or Quigg take that fight. Top Rank has so many top guys at Feather like Walters, Gradovich, Donaire, Salido, Lomachenko and even past it big money names like Darchinyan & Arce that he might as well move up.
