Has anyone heard anything about who he's gonna fight next? It seems like after he's close loss to Garcia that he has been laying low but I haven't heard anything at all. He should take the title from Peterson. Or fight Khan / Broner. Eager to see him fight he's fights always exciting

Heard he might fight Thurman on Floyd's undercard but nothing official as far as I know.

Have wondered as well, I don't think he took any serious facial damage against Garcia or anything? Plenty of opponents for him, not sure if he'd be wise to move up to 147 though. I'd actually like to see him get a rematch with Garcia, but that probably wouldn't make much sense as it wasn't quite the fight people had hoped.

Only thing I remember from the Garcia fight was he's right eye was swollen badly. As for him fighting Thurman that'd be a really ballsy move having never fought at 147 and taking on one of the biggest punchers in the division.

im wondering if anyone will want to fight LM. now that he lost, he is still a name, but he lost a little credibility by losing to garcia. now he is the epitome of an avoided fighter. he is a huge risk to fight for anybody at 140 or 147.

Thurman is a big welter to, he could be fighting at 154 quite easily. Hopefully there isn't anything to that possibility, although if he were fighting on the Floyd card, the losers(Maidana, Khan or Broner) of either two main events would still match up well with him.

Did some research and it seems like the more likely possibilities are Broner or Judah and there is a rumor that he would fight Thurman. I guess he's not injured but just resting. Also heard their supposed to announce more about he's next fight today

So we would see a super duper card featuring lucas-thurman, khan-broner, mares-miura? Why not throw in Vitali vs lewis 2 as well..

lucas is coming off of a loss and it would be foolish for him to jump up a division to fight thurman. It doesnt make any kind of business sense.

Peterson was weight drained the first time. If he comes in healtthy, he can beat lucas.
