Default Run-clinch-dance-grab: at some point should fighters be DQ'ed?

I am so sick of fighters just dancing about the ring, throwing no punches, holding, clinching, grabbing, running, burning the clock, and not losing points over it.

Shouldnt there be a minimum number of punches a fighter needs to throw per round? 3 minutes = 180 seconds, I say if a fighter doesnt throw 30 punches a round he should lose 1 point, and if he continues to throw less than 30 for 3 consecutive rounds he should be disqualified.

Also if a fighter spends more than 30 seconds in clinches/hugs per round he should lose a point. And be DQ'ed if he does that for 3 consecutive rounds.

I remember when Akinwande got DQ'd for holding on Lennox for the whole fight. We need more of that!

I would really like to see something done about excessive clinching and holding. It gets out of hand in so many fights. Also, rabbit punching to the back of the head has become an excepted tactic. Some of these issues could easily be remedied if refs did their jobs.

Funny thing about that is Akinwande actually floored Lewis in that fight. But it was ignored due to all his hugging and holding.

You could argue that there is a skill in not letting people clinch you all fight.

It really doesn't happen that much, or at least no where near often enough to annoy me.

But there are some hugfests I have hated in the past.
