    Default Rios and Alvrado rubbermatch

I read these two will be fighting again. Didn't hear a date yet. Rios said if he loses he will retire. These guys always make for an interesting fight but I don't think Rios should be going anywhere near a ring to protect his health. I think he is 28 and he's already punch drunk.

Well there's no way it wouldn't be a good fight, so why not. Both guys have taken a lot of damage for their age, but Rios doesn't seem to be getting any less durable to me. Whether he is/will be punchy or not, the guy still has a chin and looks the same fighter. I'd say Alvarado is maybe more of a question mark, if he can box without getting drawn into a fight he could win again.

Both are past there best after tough fights but probably evenly matched.

Agree that at this point Alvarado has a little less than Rios. Like both guys, but think Rios is more durable and Alvarado will cut n swell too much to win. If, and it is a big if, he can box disciplined n avoid a brawl he can win. I feel like Prov broke him mentally and ruined him. That was a horrific beating.

Honestly can't get up for this one, again. I know styles and both guys can lead with the chin like they are French kissing a wood chipper but eh. I think Alvarado is collecting way too much damage. Honestly if Rios is already going with the 'if I don't win I'll retire' line he should just hang em up and save some of those functional motor skills. His conduct during the Chaves "fight" made him look a man unhinged.

Can't argue with that either Spicoli, just see it being as good a fight for either man as is out there.

Considering it's a rubber match to settle the score after 2 wars, it doesn't excite me much either, but clearly their respective losses since takes a lot off of it and just makes you wonder if either should even be fighting at all. By that same token though, it's an obvious must win fight and there's no reason to think it shouldn't be tooth and nail again.
