This is a kickboxing fight but i thought it was worth a share, it's really sad seeing how this was allowed to carry on and how it led to the death of this young fighter.

That was pretty appalling. A cynic says familiarity and financial interest of the key officials making sure a good show was put on for the local gym sponsors trumped individual responsibility and basic training. The kid was clearly non competitive after 1.
That's disgusting, I think his coach actually looks the worst in that. It was the guys amateur debut? That would have been awful if it were a battle tested world champion prizefighter, any guy showing signs like that their first time in the ring should be stopped quick.
I cannot believe that fight was allowed to go on. He was all over the place after first round and clearly in huge trouble. He basically spent two rounds stumbling around totally defenceless and taking a sustained beating that caused his death.
Disgusting. The ref, the doctor and his corner man should hang their heads in shame.
It's pretty sad, and actually a lot of former fighters from that gym have recently come out and spoke out against Duke Roufus and Scott Cushman (the cornerman in the video).
This type of shit is relevant for all fight sports, including boxing, because there needs to be a lot of changes taking place in the gym culture of fight sports. All those old war stories about guys battling for their lives in the gym everyday sound great, but they're not conducive to longevity and a good quality of life after boxing.
murder!!!
Bigger man George, bigger punch!
