Default Roc Nation Sports signs Ward

Yep seems like he might start to actually be active again after leaving Goossen promotions. They also mirged with Gary Shaw Promotions so they actually got a decent stable of fighters.

I think 1. We're about to find out how hard or how easy it is to Promote, Push Andre Ward's fights... 2. We're about to find out how often Ward is willing to leave Oakland. 3. If we're lucky, the brand scoops up some young local fighters and we get another friday night fights kind of show that showcases live fights in New York on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. 4. There's a long term plan but eventually it could be Roc nation scooping up whats left of top ranks stable and Haymon trying to grab everyone else and these two titans becoming the new Arum and King. Please just leave it boxing... With two (current/former) music moguls.. i dont ever want to hear the phrase "BOXER-Tainment" or some variation there of.

It's nice that ward will finally be able to fight again. Hopefully they do well promoting him.

He offered Broner 40mil for 5 years which would have been 8 million a year and Broner told him to go fuck himself. I think he should have took it

Aparently Rigo going there too. Its a stupid move. Jay Z will not be able to secure any big fights for his fighters. Al Haymon wont match his guys against them. The only way Andre will get big fights is if he steps up or down in weight class but I doubt hell do that. He has a similar problem to GGG who will only get big fights if he moves up in weight. You can also argue the same for Rigo.

Ward and Rigo are two of the top 10 boxers. I agree that Haymon won't let any of his fighters face Jay Z's fighters, at least so far, that's what he's shown. Just look at Quillin not taking $1.5MM to face Korobov, or Santa Cruz avoiding Frampton or Rigo. But, that doesn't mean Ward can't become a champion again by forcing a mandatory with a Haymon fighter because the Haymon fighter will dump the belt, a la Danny Garcia-Postol and the aforementioned Quillin-Korobov.

More promoters is a good thing, in my opinion, especially if they are willing to spend the money to make things happen.
Roc Nation Sports is spending serious money so I'm hoping for the best.

I doubt Ward gives 2 fucks about titles. He wants a big money fight. And I dont think Jay Z can give them to him
