Default Have Mayweather and Pac pushed the envelope too far?

It’s to the point now where if I see either of their names, I quickly move on without reading about them. Fact is, even if they fought, it would no longer be a compelling boxing match.

I am totally sick of this crap.

Ill watch it if it happens but no way am I paying and I hope Pac catches him solid early and the spoiling doesnt work anymore and he really has to dig deep so we get to see something special.

Same here. I tend to skip over a lot of these Manny/Floyd threads as the simple fact remains that the two will not agree to fight one another, so there is nothing really to salivate over or discuss. There gets a point where a 36 year old against a 38 year old becomes a bit meaningless too. It's meaning is a long way beyond what it would have meant with a bout with Manny post Cotto. Pac has been starched cold since and Mayweather is having sequels with Maidana and looking a bit off. Mayweather in particular is annoying as he goes on about being TBE, but what great didn't fight everyone he could. Is Sven Ottke the best ever too? To his credit, Manny has fought everyone, but Mayweather in recent years?

Funny thing, right now, I have no intention of buying it. Come fight time and pressure I may change my mind but I think there will be too many streams for that to happen. I just think they are going to inflate the price and there is no way I'm going to spend 70 for a ppv

That envelope has been pushed, stretched, torn, mangled, shredded, pulverized, burned, and exhausted into the upper stratosphere.

Yep agreed - it's getting boring. Everyone involved coming out badly if you ask me

I'd pay for this one. Don't pay for many these days (Froch Groves was first in 2-3 years I'd shelled out for) but would this

I've been skipping a few Money/Pac threads lately too because there's no point in going over the same stuff all the time. I won't pay for it but I certainly won't miss it either.

And I too hope it won't be a defensive shut out by Floyd, hope he has to bring that impressive B plan Ariza was hyping about. If it exists.

I hate the pair of them and their teams for putting off the biggest fight in our generation. I hope they never meet and both get knocked out in their next fights.

Yea.... they can't go back after this one. After all of this and there is no fight, then there really is no need to pay any of them any attention.

They will feel it in the ppv buys.

    .

Sir, the only thing they've done is raise our blood pressure. So far, they haven't pushed anything anywhere!!

Yes, it's a bit like Ebola hitting America, constant hype but no substance. If the fight happens Floyd will get hit with more combos in one fight than his entire career but I don't want to hear any more about it until it happens which I think is fifty fifty at this point perhaps heading down.
