I think he can and stylewise he will always give Froch problems. This is why Froch needs to load up the advantages in his favour because it could be close with Ward not being active and have home advantage with a nice ref. It could make all the difference.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Froch needs to start the war early to have any chance in the fight.
Wider than first go. Froch has one foot out the door
It's hard to say now, as Ward has now move into the realms of the 'unknown' due to his activity, plus the fact that he had a serious injury to contend with.
If he is remotely like he was when they first fought, then he wins easily; maybe moreso as Froch is 38 & has engaged in a series of tough opponent after tough opponent for the last seven years, the like of which hasn't been seen for many a year.

I think for the sport of boxing age isn't really that important these days as they used to be. 38 is not a bad age. Unless you really slide in your training, then 30 to 45, at least, should not be a big hurdle for you to compete in these days with anyone.
jmo... especially if you are an elite fighter like Froch is.

Froch has already started talking about retirement. That's the kiss of death in boxing. He wants a money fight or two then he's gone.
