I do like watching them but really they do not need it and will not tell us anything we do not already know. We have been waiting for this fight to 6 years so it has had all the promotion it requires.

For me, I agree but for others who have not followed boxing or these fighters it's a whole new audience. Many of the expected viewers have to have something for the event. I would say its going to the fireworks show every year only this time four times as many people. If it's the gate is making more money than the superbowl, I would expect at least a free beer and nuts with a topless (female) server. And a room for the night....

A little off topic but I heard because of money disputes this will not be shown at movie theatres in the states. Usually the big ppv events are shown at a few theatres. Too bad, it would be a great fight to see on a big screen.

That's Arum. It's Floyd's fights that are shown in theaters. Dealing with Arum must be like having teeth pulled.

    Why blame Arum for this?

Because every Floyd fight since DLH has been available at theaters. No Pacquiao fights have been. It isn't hard to figure out which side would like to do theaters and which side thinks there will be financial issues. And Arum has gotten his way in every aspect, just look at the shitty undercard
