If you have a slickster in there, you want to maul them, get their back on the ropes, push them in the corner, use your strength on them.
If you have a pressure fighter you fend them off with the 1-2, tie up, and turn them against the ropes/into the corner.
If you have a wild swinger defend and look to counter
The best weapons you will have are the left hook to the body which can also hit their tricep or their kidney depending on how they react to that. And that can take the legs away from the guy and/or drop that lead right which opens up a window for the left hook to the head and most importantly the right cross which you'll want to throw straighter rather than loop it. This my friend is the ABSOLUTE PERFECT time to use the feint right, big left hook...the southpaw ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS is told "Look for the right, look for the right" sell that feint hard, it'll move his hands and BANG surprise left hook. And if you're landing the hook to the body then all the better because you'll have him thinking "Oh, he's feinting the right hand, the left hook will come low" so you're moving his hands completely out of the way for the big shot up top. And this move doesn't have to have you looking for 1 big punch, just use the feints with your usual pressure and attack, add them in with your head movement and you'll do great I am sure.
Great tips there, take them aboard and I'm sure you will be fine.
Wish you all the best and good luck.
