anyone know it broke the record?
anyone know it broke the record?
I'm assuming it did but it usually takes a week or so to get the official numbers.

Wisdom, compassion and courage are the three universally recognised moral qualities of men.
It'll be interesting to see how badly the technical problems cut into the PPV revenue. I think there were entire cities (St. Louis was one) that were all refunded because they were getting a black screen after they ordered.
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
I think the fight lost the most casual fans in the history of the sport which is a shame but maybe it will stop the $100 ppv.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
If there was a stat called "Value per PPV dollar", this would've broken some records for sure.
Negatively speaking, that is.
I already posted networks say it was 3 million ppv buys. Which means promoters lied about previous numbers talking so long to tally. Here we have a two new or collaboration with an automated system and ghey already know the number. Previously they did disclose the numbers and it now clear they were hiding the numbers. My guess is to cheat the fighters.
I feel sorry for all the suckers who paid for this fight. Glad I was not one of them.
What exactly makes you think you know what's going on in other people's minds.
I suppose, to your way of thinking, every first time watcher of boxing is going to become a life long fan of boxing if the fight is exciting according to your standards. The truth is 60% are never going to be boxing fans of any kind, 30% might become casual boxing fans, and 10% might become real fans, no matter what you thought about the fight!
It all comes down to this, I think you are full of BS. Floyd vs Manny or the fact that is was a very expensive PPV is not going to have a significant effect on boxing, good or bad, in my opinion.
Iole is reporting the certainty of 4 million and maybe 4.5 which would amount to the GNP of some countries
Yes, during the fight they said it looks like it would break four million which is extremely impressive. The line in Vegas was 3.15. I guess with those kind of numbers it can almost guarantee a rematch, even it did half as well it's still bank. Perhaps they can time it for Floyd's fiftieth, even though this fight was a blow out, I'm sure Floyd feels that it would be a great way to end his career and they could still market the hell out of it saying it's a healthy Manny fight. In a year's time a lot of people will forget the angst of this fight.
