Iwasa is 19-1 (12 ko's). His only defeat coming four years ago against current unbeaten WBC champion and Ring ranked no.1 bantamweight Shinsuke Yamanaka.
No disrespect to Haskins but the simplest way to describe him is a poor man's Naz without the power, speed or fluidity. He's been duffed up a few times when stepping up in class (remember back in the day when Ian Napa started to do a number on him and he quit the corner stopped it because he damaged his hand).
Not much footage of Iwasa on youtube but enough to see he looks pretty useful. A southpaw who is six years younger than the 31-year-old Haskins, has a couple of inches in height (nothing new to Haskins) and a five inch reach advantage.
Obviously Haskins has home advantage which could play a massive factor as ever. This is for some interim IBF bollocks.
However, the bookies make the Japanese fella the 11/8 underdog.
