    hi,

is there any training exercise to become lighter on your feet? or is it simply natural?

    thanks.

skipping/jump-rope is the best exercise out there. Not only will it make you light on your feet but teach you good rythm and coordination too, aswell as good cardio and some shoulder endurance.

Practice. Moving properly- that is, not lifting your feet and walking, never crossing them. The most important thing is to learn what i like to call the 'fencer step'; pushing off your right foot instead of step and drag. Also, the right (or rear) foot should always be on the toe, the heel elevated @2", and the toe pointed at your opponent

this is interesting, coz i have been told to do that drag motion you are talk about. but it doesnt seem to be the most effective way of moving. and i rarely see it being used in a fight.

im gonna look into this fencer step, thanks alot.

Being able to spar ,move fast in and out of stances chasing and retreating in deep sand makes life alot easier when your out of sand too,It forces you to learn economy of movment.
Just for inbetween times and fun,Table tennis or squash (small ball sports) will get your feet moving in with better hand /eye coordination too.

Bounce a tennis ball like a basketball and move around on your toes.
