Ireland have 3 fighters in the semi finalists. Conlon hot fav for bantomweight gold with O'Reilly and Ward having great chances in the the middle and light heavy categories. We've never won a gold at the worlds before so to have 3 in the running at this stage of the comp is a great achievement.
England have been disappointing Ali losing out of a semi final position by a cut and Cordina getting well beat in his QF. Super Heavyweight Joe Joyce has looked good and is a decent fav for gold.
The Cubans as always look strong and are certain to claim a few golds but the surprise of the competition is the Uzbekistan team who have looked very strong. The US team has disappointed again with no medals.
The last Olypics I clicked an 80/1 winner. The industry are very poor at amateur boxing so well worth watching these to get an edge for next summer.
