    Default Joshua eyeing Euro title

Anthony Joshua may fight for European title next, says Eddie Hearn | Boxing News | Sky Sports

I quite fancied the Euro title as a step forward for Joshua when Teper had it. I don't think Teper is that good but he can clearly clump a bit and he chinned Price so there was a bit of back story.

Never heard of this Rill bloke Helenius is fighting.

Teper looks tough and might take a bit of shifting.
Helenius looks tough but has been a disappointment so far.

That looks a bit to me like Matchroom gauging public opinion for the Chisora fight.

Chisora has stated he wants the biggest money fights available and wants a Haye rematch.

Chisora would be lucky to get AJ, no way anyone wants to see a rematch against Haye. Chisora was knocked out clean.

Hearn was knocked out clean after only 3 rounds versus Hagler. Im pretty sure people would want to see a rematch.

    Barry Hearn?
    Eddie Hearn?

    Or Thomas Hearns?

From what has been stated in this thread I'm interested to know your opinions if we can consider The War between Thomas Hearns and Marvin Hagler to have the same rematch appeal as Haye v chisora?

Ross are you really comparing Hagler v Hearns with Haye v Chisora? No way you are that mad.

No, the circumstances. Same as I kept bringing up Liston V Clay in reference to Klitschko v Fury. I wasnt saying Fury is Clay.

What im saying is on paper why would anyone want to see a rematch of a fight that ended by KO in just 3 rounds?

Haye v Chisora was probably Hayes most interesting fight. Hayes name sells apparently so why wouldnt people want to see him in against the opponent who made him fight?

I mean fuck sakes im sure people would rather see him fight Chisora than De Mori!!

Haye-Chisora was a rematch. Haye duffed him up in a press conference then ironed him inside 5 rounds in a ring. Can't get more sporting than that.

It's too easy just to keep saying "fair play Ross, you're a twat!", so I'm gonna refrain from doing that.
But what intrigues me is your skill at changing history to what YOU THINK happened.
"Chisora was Haye's most interesting fight"
He fought another Brit in a World title unification, fought another unification as the underdog as an away fighter like your mate did. He fought a guy conceding nearly a foot in height and over 7 stone in weight to win the HW championship of the World. And he also fought a unification away from home against what you think is 7th greatest HW of all time, and you think his most "interesting" fight was a meaningless fight against Chisora under the Luxembourg boxing board of control after both fighters had disgraced not only themselves but British Boxing in general when they were in Germany.
Like I said, it's too easy just to keep calling you a twat, but you know what? Sometimes it's right just to do the easy things in life!!! 😂

Doesnt look like Joshua will be getting anywhere nere the Euro title next year!

The winner or Rill v Helenius has to face madatory Teper.

The winner of Teper v Rill/Helenius winner has to face already instilled mandatory Chisora!
