Default Best Speed Bag for Home Use (Garage)

    Hi Guys,

I'm planning on purchasing a speed bag for my birthday to set up on the side of my garage. What speed bag set up do you recommend I buy? Is there anything I should especially consider?

    Thanks!

Bigger easier, smaller harder, easy to switch depends on how you hang them up.

As with anything in life get the best your budget will allow. I bought my son a budget speedball as he was getting into boxing and immediately started replacing swivels, back boards. A locking swivel is a must, don't go for a cheapy hook type swivel, the ball will be coming off every five minutes. Get a decent board, not too thin, it wont bounce properly and you'll end up smacking the crap out of it to get any kind of rhythm.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Yea there is an everlast one at the gym I hit sometimes, it's solid. What's fun is a makeshift double end as well, you can just pierce a tennis ball and run a long bungie cord from floor to ceiling, it's a lot more fun and engaging I find, takes no effort or space as you can just take it down when you aren't using it.
