Default Frank Warren rips into Eubank Snr (Video) - Good Interview this

I Like Warren, Always have done and he certainly doesn't mince his words here when it comes to Eubank Snr and the demands for the Golovkin fight, also brings up some facts about Eubank from back in the day and makes some interesting points about who is really steering the Team Eubank ship

Brilliant. Frank laying it down as it is.

Zoom out a bit here and think about it. I think Snr is more intelligent than people realize. He knows his son will get beat by GGG. He knows Jr is far too inexperienced to jump up to that level of opponent.

Ruffling the feathers of Eddie and Frank has/will generate publicity.

Eubank Jr has talent but not the experience.

Any good manager wouldn't throw their prospect in to the fire. Never mind your own flesh and blood.

I think this is a cunning plan.

One of the more ridiculous things Warren has said. We are fighting men?

No Frank, you are in the boxing business you are not a fighting man

He is very very bitter and seething! What has just gone on doesnt affect him or his business in the slightest and looks here like he might have a heart attack over it

There has to be some resentment there

Did you listen to the interview? He wasn't saying that HE is a fighting man, he was speaking from Liam Smith, Jazza Dickens and Kell Brooks point of view, he is saying that 'they' are fighting men 'they have stepped up' and 'they' won't hide behind their dads.

but he is saying it as if it was them fighters themselves speaking, hence the 'we' instead of the 'they'.

With regards to him having a heart attack over it, I think it comes across as though he just can't stand Sr and he sounds frustrated because he believes Jr's career is suffering because of him

    Your last line.

None of that affects him. You have to think Eubank Sr has got one over on him somehow. You watch, matchroom and Warren will both be involved in Jrs career again down the road and beyond the next fight that Jr is contracted to Hearn for as well. They both recognise Jr is a valuable comodity and hate that Sr is a stumbling block to the, stitching him up and getting their grubby little paws on him.

Hearn and Warren sound like bitchy little jilted lovers

That is what I am saying, they know that he has potential (both as a boxer and a money maker) but Sr is hindering him at the moment and it is obvious that people are growing frustrated with him.

its alright saying they sound like bitchy little jilted lovers with a smiley face but you can't escape the fact that it looks as though Sr is causing Jr's career to stall.

Yes Warren and Hearn want to get their grubby little paws on him but if they managed to then he would be getting bigger fights than his last couple

Sr has been there and done that and just wants the best deal for his son. Im pretty sure Jr will have lucrative fights and will become a star and it will be down to Sr, no one else, not Hearn or Warren.

Think that's the first time he hasn't spent half the interview slagging off Hearn. Shows what a thicko/nutter Eubank is to have Frank backing what Eddie said.

I think what you said is right but it is not a conceived plan just a product of Senior mismanaging his son. BJS beat him because of the lack of experience Junior had not pacing himself.

They might be more slippery than an oiled up eel in a Turkish steam bath, but I believe every word Frank and Eddie have to say about Eubank Snr.

Eubank was all about the money from day one and if anyone is paranoid its Chris Snr. He wants his son to earn as much as possible and you cant argue with that, I do get the impression it's more than that though, it all seems like a power struggle that Chris Snr is obliged to get into and not accept the offer that is made to him, no matter how good.

Eddie has already said he'd work with them again, but the deal isnt going to get any better than Golovkin is it? Under what circumstances is Eddie or Warren going to cave to their/Snr's demands and come running saying please, please fight on our card?
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Yeah i agree that all the blame lies with Eubank Snr too, best thing his son can do is fuck him off and do this alone but it's never gonna happen not in a million years.
Its a shame because he really has got the tools to win a world title i think but nobody is gonna put up with his dad interfering in absolutely everything - the training and fight negotiations etc, he's like his fucking shadow and is everywhere his son is.
His dad want's to be his promoter, manager and trainer at the end of the day.

@ross Warren might not have climbed through the ropes but he is from serious fighting stock from way back in the day.

if you mean by "been there and done that" that he became a World Champion and subsequently blew it all and bankrupted himself , then you are indeed correct .
Add to that the fact that to him, reading and understanding a contract is the equivalent of Understanding the theory of splitting the atom and yes , you have someone with the perfect credentials to guide a British champion who believes he is the second coming of Christ!
I seriously cannot believe how anyone can defend this pair of fucking comedians and even consider Jr. to be a serious contender at World Level.
A British level fighter that has turned down fights with EVERY World Champion in his division!!! you couldn't fucking make it up.

First off. Eubank Snr has not given his side of the story. That must be understood.

Eubank Snr is well, eccentric, a black man born of Jamaican parents calling himself English? He loves the limelight, that's obvious, seeing his son doing his thing has probably giving him a new lease of life.

But guys like Eddie Hearn (Son of Multi-Millionaire Barry Hearn) is going to be OK in twenty years’ time. He's going to be OK in thirty years time. He's going to be OK for the rest of his life. Same for Warren, Frank can talk all this big talk, all this "How dare him!!" but he's not the one getting in the ring. He's not the one putting himself on the line. He's angry that Eubank is suspicious of boxing promoters ? Well - Why is that Frank?

But as I say, we are only hearing one side of the story
